davinci resolve 17 studio with speed editor

My PC system is brand new as I'm getting rid of my Mac Pro (Apple stopped supporting it even though it's a 12 core Zeon and works fine, but that's another topic). I too have a Mac and it pairs right away and stays paired. Hopefully they can provide an update to the speed editor for windows. I guess it is good to know that it's not just me having the problem. I just shot some scenics today for fun, so later tonight I'll play around with it and try to get acquainted with it.I want to thank everyone for their responses. I've seen a few of the Speed Editor ones, but the presenters right now tend to breeze through, so it's hard to zero in on what they're doing beyond the basic jog wheel functions.

I don't know of any other program, perhaps other than Photoshop, that has the volume of tutorials available. The volumes of independent YouTube videos is what got me started with this program in the first place. With the really large Resolve manual it is often faster to search YouTube and get a video tutorial. It would be useful for ALL manuals to be downloadable individually from product the support pages.Īlso hardware manuals should be separate from the SW manuals. I agree that all hardware, panels, and keyboards should have separate downloadable PDFs user manuals, especially for new products. It seems intuitive to plug the thing into a USB port to charge. I didn't expect a full charge and only guessed it would have a battery inside. When I linked the BT with my computer I could then see that I had only 8% battery charge on it. It was only experience and intuition and a little help from others who at least got me hooked up with the thing. But it sure would have been nice to provide some documentation of the speed editor for those of us just learning editing in general. The free program got me up and running and I've now graduated to the Studio version. For those that don't know, I'm a big fan of Davinci Resolve and BMD, particulalry because they make it easy and affordable to get into serious video editing.
